The Holy Family Social Action team uses Catholic Social Teaching as a guide while creating opportunities for advocacy, organizing, solidarity and charity.  The main focus of the team is on immigration and poverty.  The team looks for opportunities to collaborate with other churches and community groups to broaden our efforts.

The Social Action Team core group meets every two months to discuss the opportunities that have been presented to the parish, to prioritize activities, and to coordinate events.

Members of the team who aren't interested in being a part of the core group but who want to remain actively involved and informed can join our mailing list by contacting Sister Tracy Kemme at tkemme@holyfamilycincinnati.org.

If you are interested in coming to a core team meeting to see if you want to become more involved contact Sister Tracy Kemme at tkemme@holyfamilycincinnati.org.

Please Welcome Our New Business Manager

Welcome Mike Murray

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Murray to the position of Business Manager at Holy Family Parish.  Mike’s experience, both as a small business owner, and in a large corporation (DuBois Chemical), provide a unique set of qualifications to help manage this parish.  Mike is a born and bred west-sider who grew up at St. Al’s on the Ohio and spent many a weekend in the Holy Family gym playing basketball. Mike is a graduate of Elder High School and Wilmington College.  He got his MBA at Xavier University.  Mike currently lives in St. Simon’s parish with his wife, Michelle, but he has already worshiped with us on Sunday morning during the hiring process. Mike has two daughters and one grandson.  When he has some free time, Mike likes to play golf and enjoys watching OSU football! Mike is so excited to start at Holy Family that before his official start date, he already visited Ed Bayliss, Business Manager at Our Lady of Lourdes, to get a few tips to hit the ground running!

Please join the staff at Holy Family in welcoming Mike to our parish!
