Infant Baptism Instruction Program

“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." (The CCC, Article I, paragraph 1213)

Infant Baptism

Congratulations on the birth of your child and on choosing to have them baptized into the Christian faith.  In order to have a child baptized, you must take baptismal preparation classes. These classes will help you understand your responsibility in sharing the Catholic faith with your child. They will also familiarize you with the Rite of Baptism so that you can fully be present to celebrate your child's baptism rather than wondering what happens next.  To schedule the classes, please contact the Parish Office, (513) 921-7527. Classes can be scheduled in advance so that you are ready when your son/daughter arrives.

Youth and Adult Baptism

In preparation for adult baptism and that of older children, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is offered throughout the year.  Please contact the Parish Office at (513) 921-7527 to speak to someone about taking part in RCIA.
