Holy Family Parish Mission Statement

Holy Family Parish is a multicultural Catholic faith community in East Price Hill and South Fairmount. We strive to grow as Jesus' disciples by following his compassionate and courageous example as we proclaim his Gospel, celebrate the Sacraments, educate children in our faith, strengthen our families, foster the life-long spiritual growth of our parishioners, steward our resources wisely, and reach out in compassion to the poor and suffering, welcoming all in the spirit of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, our patrons.

Holy Family Parish Vision Statement

Holy Family will be a Beacon on East Price Hill and in South Fairmount, as a courageous, faith-filled community reaching out in compassionate service to those in need and drawing all to the following of Jesus Christ. All races, cultures, and ethnicities have a place in God's kingdom. Therefore, we will provide a living example of what it means to be a multicultural, Catholic faith community. Our parish members, volunteers, and staff will reflect the diversity of our neighborhood, and we will have liturgies, ministries, programs, and publications that reflect that diversity as well. We will be a vibrant, ministerially complete, and fiscally solvent parish, whose members are a community of disciples, one in Christ. Listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will devote our treasure, time, and talent to living the mission of Jesus, reaching out to serve the Holy Family community and our neighborhood, and wisely stewarding the resources that God has entrusted to our care. As a Gospel-grounded community, we will dedicate ourselves to living and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ by our words and actions. As a faith-filled people in the Catholic tradition, we will devote ourselves to the lifelong spiritual growth and formation of our parishioners and their families, passing on our tradition by educating our children in Christian values and including our young people in every aspect of parish life. As a parish family, we will nurture and support our families and uphold the right to life. We will be a justice-oriented people, engaging in issues of justice, fairness, and equality that affect our neighborhood and our larger world. We will collaborate in ecumenical projects with our neighboring churches and the other Catholic parishes in our pastoral region. Holy Family will continue to center all we strive to be and do in the celebration of the Eucharist and our commitment to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
