The Holy Family Social Action team uses Catholic Social Teaching as a guide while creating opportunities for advocacy, organizing, solidarity and charity.  The main focus of the team is on immigration and poverty.  The team looks for opportunities to collaborate with other churches and community groups to broaden our efforts.

The Social Action Team core group meets every two months to discuss the opportunities that have been presented to the parish, to prioritize activities, and to coordinate events.

Members of the team who aren't interested in being a part of the core group but who want to remain actively involved and informed can join our mailing list by contacting Sister Tracy Kemme at tkemme@holyfamilycincinnati.org.

If you are interested in coming to a core team meeting to see if you want to become more involved contact Sister Tracy Kemme at tkemme@holyfamilycincinnati.org.

7/7/2019 - Welcome Sr. Cristina!

Holy Family Welcomes Sr. Cristina

Holy Family welcomes Sister Cristina Garces Guerrero as our Bilingual Pastoral Associate.  Sister Cristina comes to us from Holy Family in Glendale, California where she worked with their Hispanic community, visited hospitals and retirement communities, cared for grieving families, coordinated bible study and assisted with the St. Vincent dePaul Society.  Sister Cristina will serve in a similar capacity at Holy Family!  Please welcome Sister Cristina to Holy Family.

Journey of Faith/Camino de Fe

Share the Journey

On September 27, Pope Francis launched worldwide, a two-year Share the Journey campaign which urges Catholics around the globe to encounter, walk with, and support migrants and refugees.  The Pope hopes the campaign will break down barriers of fear and suspicion and build bridges of understanding and hospitality.  He sees it at as response to the Gospel mandate: Love your neighbor.  Here at Holy Family, we'll be sharing the journey with a program called "Journey of Faith/Camino de Fe."
